Clint Spencer grew up West Virginia, on an old Indian burial
ground. Upon graduating elementary school, he went on to a glorious
career in middle and high school. After retiring from high school,
he relocated to Marietta to spend his golden years sipping Kool-Aid
in the sun. He is currently a full-time role model.
Name: Neil Allan Thompson
Birthday: June 16, 1983
Hometown: Laings, Ohio
I am a 19-year-old sophomore English major considering a minor
in some sort of Mass Media discipline, most likely Journalism.
I hold a part-time job in Wheeling, West Virginia in the Sports
department of the Intelligencer, a newspaper where I worked
4 days a week over the summer.
I am from Monroe County, Ohio, which is about 30 miles north
of Marietta on Route 7. I live in a very rural area outside
of an extremely small town called Laings. I attended River High
School in Hannibal, Ohio and graduated in 2001 as Valedictorian
of my class.
I am a member of the Church of Christ and am active in my congregation
and on campus. While in Marietta, I attend the Sixth and Washington
Street Church of Christ. On campus, I serve as Vice-President
of the SALT (Seeking After the Lord's Truth) organization.
Besides my antics on "Go Time," my weekly syndicated
radio show, I enjoy reading (yes, English majors have to like
to read), hanging out with my friends on campus (like my buddy
and co-host Clint Spencer), and playing and watching a variety
of sports, including football, basketball and baseball. My favorite
types of music, which any "Go Time" listener will
recognize are mid-90's Rock, old-school Rock, old-school Country,
and my favorite band is Creed.
