Box Turtles on Vacation
Linus, Karl, and Terry share the remains of a banana. I have found out that bananas should only be fed rarely to the turtles as it throws off their phosphorous/calcium ratios.
The ivy bed, a favorite haunt on hot afternoons.
The pool, which attracted a bullfrog for a few weeks. The pool has also housed aquatic painted turtles and red-eared sliders. Naraht approaches for a quick dip.
Linus emerges from the mud under a pine tree.
The pictures above were taken at the old place. We've moved and Carol, Terry, Linus and a new face, Quasi, have joined us. See them in their new digs here.
