What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?
My students should expect to learn from someone who is more excited about mathematics than they can possibly imagine.
What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?
I enjoy working with my students in small classes and getting to know them as people.
When you aren’t teaching, what other activities do you enjoy?
I play softball way too much, I have recently become a runner, and I climb the rock wall on campus with my daughters.
Do you prefer flipping through the pages of a book or an e-book?
Five years ago I would have laughed about ever owning an e-book, now I never leave home without my Kindle for fun reading. My math books are all still print copies.
What is your favorite location on campus and why?
What is your favorite Marietta College event?
Graduation. It is a culmination of four years of hard work by both the students and the faculty.
