What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?

In my classes, students spend the bulk of their time practicing.

What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?

I find it very satisfying when a student thoroughly masters the material useful for their life and career.

When you aren’t teaching, what other activities do you enjoy?

Swimming, golf, bridge, visiting grandchildren, sports events and reading.

Do you prefer flipping through the pages of a book or an e-book?

A book

What is your favorite location on campus and why?

The classroom and my office. That’s where I can help students learn.
