Planetarium Events

For reservations, please send an email to planetarium@marietta.edu (preferred) or leave a message at 740-376-4827. Please include your name, the number of seats you are reserving and your contact information. You will receive a confirmation via email or telephone. Groups larger than 20 are encouraged to schedule a special viewing.

Those without reservations will be admitted on a space-available basis.

 


 

July 2016: Galileo: The Power of the Telescope

Please join us as we learn about Galileo by taking a look at his life and some of his most important scientific discoveries. This fulldome program, produced by the Daniel M. Soref Planetarium at the Milwaukee Public Museum, will be accompanied by a star talk about the July night sky.

August 2016: The Cowboy Astronomy

Explore the world of naked-eye astronomy with "The Cowboy Astronomer"! By visitor request, we will also take a look at the southern hemisphere sky for the first time ever in a public show!

Seating for the August show will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
