Human resource professionals understand that the one key competitive advantage an organization has today is its people, and that their role is to give their employees the tools and support needed to achieve and maintain the competitive advantage. The minor focuses on developing the critical skills professionals will need when managing people. At Marietta you'll focus on developing the critical analytical skills required to manage people including:

  • recruitment, selection, training, and development of personnel;
  • administration of compensation and benefits;
  • labor relations;
  • occupational health and safety programs;
  • career planning; and
  • employee counseling.
